Home Renovation at 1311 Toledo Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN
Bittersweet home renovation… This project was a labor of love for me. You just don’t know what the end result will be or what you may encounter while taking on rehab project with an older home. But, when the project is approached with the eye of an interior designer, you position yourself for resale quickly. We’ve been working on this home renovation project in Golden Valley, MN for many months, taking into account the age of the home, the neighborhood, and some modern design twists. It’s finally completed, on the market, and it even has a
pending offer.
Take a look at all of the finished photos of this Minneapolis Home Renovation project below.
The Exterior
We really did a lot of work on this home as it needed a lot of love inside and out. We rehabbed almost everything here, giving this home a new paint job, new trim, a curb appeal update and a unique house number display with evening lighting.
Some modern updates to the front door and curb appeal.

The Main Living Area
We gave this cozy little brick fireplace a facelift.
The Dining Area
The home boasts a large enough main living area to open up the dining room into the kitchen. Take a look at how we opened up this home and provided for comfort and mingling of spaces.
The Kitchen Area
Our second favorite room in the home… Everyone loves the kitchen and congregates in it when guests arrive. The main living space in this home is perfectly transformed for a nice fall get-together with family and friends. One can enjoy the fireplace and relax while still being able to chat with the others in the kitchen or dining area. It’s really a warm, welcoming space.

The Bedroom…
Here’s where you’ll spend 30% or more of your entire life – the bedroom! In a home renovation budget, the bedroom and master bath are just as important as the kitchen or other high traffic areas; maybe even more important.
