Interior Design Concepts for Men

Interior decorating for a man’s home is such a delight. I love the colors, clean lines, open spaces and eclectic accessories. If you’re decorating your home but aren’t sure where to begin, here are five concepts for men to stick to if they want a classically manly home:

Open Spaces

Bigger is not always better, but in this case it is! The more open the space the better.

Industrial

The industrial look can come in the form of furniture, accessories or in the way the house, studio or apartment is built. Whichever form it takes, industrial is super masculine!

Eclectic Pieces

Men have to have some great statement pieces too, and in this case the more eclectic the better! You can really add personal character into a room by putting some eclectic pieces on display.

Subtle Colors

Generally men opt for more subtle colors in their home, but this certainly isn’t always the case! If you want to play it safe though, try sticking with pops of color while keeping the majority a nice subtle color.

Clean Lines

Clean lines are very masculine, and they look amazing too! Take the image above, for example – the mirror on mirror creates a beautiful shape with the crossed lines.

As with anything, remember that rules are meant to be broken! But if you’re looking for a way to incorporate some manly style into your home, these five concepts should help.
