Revitalize Your Master Bedroom For Optimal Sleep
It’s great to have a beautiful bedroom, but the most time you spend in the bedroom is sleeping, so it should be designed to help you sleep! I love all kinds of colors in the bedroom but I find that a calming shade of blue is very conducive to a relaxing sleep.
Here are 10 examples of a nice blue color that’ll put you right to sleep:
You don’t have to stick with one shade of blue in the bedroom. This room brought in a couple different turquoise colors that blend nicely with the wall.
This bedroom is full of colors but sticks closely to the cool color scheme.
I like how this bedroom is brightened up a little bit with the creams, beiges and whites.
Here’s another room with multiple blues mixed with multiple light colors.
This is a brighter version of a calming blue. I think this is as bright as you can go if your goal is to have a blue that will serenade you to sleep.
This monotoned room gives off the perfect nighttime vibe.
With that bed, the blue walls and that gorgeous chandelier, this is a perfectly designed bedroom for a good night’s sleep.
Here are more mixed blues and turquoises brought together by whites. It’s important to lighten up the room like this if you plan to have a lot of blues.
By now I’m sure you get the idea of what causes a calming effect – cool blues and light shades of cream.
This room looks so cozy to me with its calming colors and subtle décor. As you can see in the 10 examples above, a perfect blue shade can really make a difference in your room.
Are there any other colors that you think make a nice calming effect for sleep? I’d love to hear![Please note: Unless otherwise stated, none of the above images are mine. Please click on images for attribution].
